Team 9558 works alongside Team 818 and consists of rookies and members who want to join Team 818 someday but would rather work with Team 9558 to continue to develop their skills. With the rising number of members interested in the WCS FRC Robotics Team, having a rookie team will give more students the chance to have quality, hands-on learning opportunities. 

Team 12113, The Armadillo Pups was created in 2016 by Team 818 and runs at Butcher Educational Center. The members consist of students from multiple different middle schools from 7th grade to 8th totaling eleven students. Four members from Team 818 are currently mentoring the Armadillo Pups. They are guiding them through the mechanical, programming, and logistics aspects of FTC.
